Question
I have been blessed with a beautiful yearling out of Zippo Pine Bar. As this filly will be for showing; she has developed a wart on her bottom eyelid. Not big; but I would like to know if there is something that I can do to prevent anymore of these popping up. No other horse in the barn has any.

Please help,
Candace Gentile

Answer
Dear Candace,
One of the best treatments I have found in treating warts is Australian Tea Tree Oil. You can get it at Walmart now in the antiseptic isle. Dab it onto the warts and it will prevent irritation and dry them up. The other treatment I have had the best success with is a good herbal liver cleanse. This may not be the best solution for you as it can be costly.
Best of luck.
