Question
From: Sam Hansen

Dear Cheyanne, Someone told me I should add apple cider vinegar to my feed to help my horse repel flies. He is getting bit more than usual this year. I have been using a natural fly repellant. I can not seem to find any information on the subject. Any suggestions??

Thank you for your time.

Sam Hansen

Answer
Dear Sam, I personally use Absorbine (BLACK) bottle of fly repellent. It is in an aloe vera base and is effective for 4-5 days. I have had the best luck with this on horses with the most sensitive skin. I have also not found a good "natural" repellent. hope this helps.

Cheyanne West C-Hom.
