Cheyanne West is a Homeopathic Consultant and Educator who specializes in working with animals. She is the author of numerous articles on treating horses and other animals with homeopathy as well as other alternative therapies. For the past 20 years she has owned, trained and shown both horses and dogs and has operated an after-care service for horses which offered post-operative care, general injury care and maintenance as well as foaling. She also takes horses in training for behavioral and physical therapy.Her training in homeopathy began many years ago with her introduction to Dr. Robin Murphy, ND. Ph.D. The Director of The Hahnemann Academy of North America (HANA). where she is trained in homeopathy. Cheyanne has since pursued her own research into homeopathy, concentrating for many years on the treatment of animals. Since 1984, she has worked with the Colorado Division of Wildlife as a wildlife/hunter education instructor and as a Wildlife Tech for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe in Ignacio, CO. She has assisted in numerous wildlife relocation projects, aerial game counts and all aspects of wildlife management. She is a former Vet Tech and has many years experience in alternative therapies for animals as well as animal health care. Cheyanne started "A Natural Path" in 1995, which is a small mail order catalog on alternative medicines, books tapes as well as a variety of homeopathic emergency remedy kits which she designed for cats, dogs, horses, caged birds, wildlife, cattle sheep, goats and pigs. She also offers day long and weekend workshops on alternative medicine, homeopathy and animal health care. Most recently she has developed a newsletter called "Alternatives - A Natural Path to Animal Health Care". This newsletter is published 4 times per year and is packed full of articles and helpful tips on choosing and using alternative therapies for animals. Throughout all of her work and research, Cheyanne is committed to providing up to date information on alternative health care for animals. Those who have attended her workshops enjoy and appreciate her common sense, no nonsense way of communicating. Currently, Cheyanne lives and writes in the four corners area of Colorado.
